Drive-in / Drive-through Racking System
Drive-in racking is ideal for storing large quantities of heavy goods with a limited variety of items. They combine the advantages of block storage for high space utilization with those of rack storage for pressureless storage. the other on two continuous depth support (also called pallet rails), which creates a fixed sequence for stacking and retrieval. Shelves are therefore only suitable for the LiFo method, while pass-through shelves are suitable for the FiFo method.
Drive-in racking is operated exclusively by an industrial forklift. Forklifts with side seats are particularly suitable for this system, as they offer the driver a clear field of vision even when reversing.
